Сегодня ожидается небольшое дополнение к патчу 0 и 0.1, включающее в себя фикс с "черным экраном" (при старте мультиплеера) и фикс исправляющий апдейтер - который портил игру недокаченными файлами (при плохом коннекте).

    * Random disconnects and lag.
    * Allowing higher resolution textures and models for other players.
    * Various known problems with being able to continue interrupted side quests.
    * Remnant quest items not getting destroyed and “clogging” up inventory.
    * Continued problems with saving / loading Engineer Drone items.
    * Invisible party members.
    * The nanoforge not correctly improving rare and better armors.
    * Getting stuck on collision.

    Some of these are issues which will be fixed as soon as possible and go live in upcoming patches, some will be in our upcoming content patch, and others are issues on which we will make gradual improvements to on a continuous basis.

    Of course we also have a more extensive bug list as well as lot of general improvements and new content in the works. Everyone here is working full-time to support Hellgate. We appreciate your patience.

Dropping items causes a lot of performance issues, so its worrisome. Why do you want to do this?

8) Make it easier for players who arent in parties to find each other!
Ideally we want to have a “warp to”-type button accessible from chat or buddy and guild lists. It would only work for players in a town. Its proving to be technically tricky, but we’re working on it.

9) A shared portion of the stash
Pretty high priority. In our first big content patch, I hope.

10) I’ve fallen through an environment object several times and it has placed me back at the beginning of the zone.
Off-hand I can’t remember where we are on this. I’ll track it down.

11) Run/sprint speed…
I actually like it the way it is, but I’ll bring it up to the team

5) Чат
Много исправлений будет внесено совсем скоро, но еще больше усовершенствований появится позже.

6) Другая одежда и вещи
Это не первоочередная задача, но этот вопрос на повестке дня.

7) Выпадающие предметы
Выпадающие предметы вызывают немало проблем и беспокойств.

8) Способ, чтобы облегчить поиск игроков в команде
В идеале мы хотим сделать кнопку поиска, доступную из чата или списков гильдий. Это будет работать только для игроков в городе. Реализация этой идеи может быть технически сложным, но мы работаем над этим.

We're gearing up to release what we internally refer to as Patch 0.5. We intend this update to resolve many of the issues players are having with Hellgate: London.

In preparation for our 0.5 launch, we'll be...

1) Wiping our Test Center tonight.

2) Placing copies of all US characters into the Test Center tomorrow.

If you'd like to see Patch 0.5 early and help us perfect the update, please login to the Test Center over the weekend. If all goes well, the 0.5 update will be made available to everyone next week.

Curious about what you can expect? Here's a draft of our 0.5 patch notes:

General:
All players now have 24 character slots.
Fixed a known issue with the inventory user interface that caused the client to lock up.
Fixed a bug which caused the Mini-game to sometimes become stuck.
The Mini-game now resets every 15 minutes.
Added a /help command to provide assistance using available / commands.
Some new posters have been added to stations, so check them out!

Connection Issues:
Fixed known issues which sometimes caused players to be disconnected and receive an erroneous network error message.
Fixed an issue where some home routers would disconnect a user due to an inactive connection.
Fixed known bugs which sometimes disconnected players during multiplayer quests.
Fixed problems with NetLimiter 1.30 and some older versions of Norton Antivirus and McAfee Antivirus which would make the user entirely unable to connect to the game.

Chat:
Made several chat interface improvements and the text entry more intuitive:
Chat window is now open by default in multiplayer.
Fixed chat window closing when traveling between zones.
Fixed several cases where the chat window would obstruct other UI components.
Chat context (such as Party and Guild) is now more clearly defined in the text entry window, including a color-coded border.
Chat window is now more transparent.
Added /g command. This is equivalent to /gchat command (guild chat).
Whisper text now shows up on all chat tabs.
Whisper messages and admin announcements auto-open the chat panel.
Auto-switch to the appropriate tab (such as Party and Guild) if you type text to that channel and are not in a tab that shows the text.
PageUp/PageDown cycle through chat tabs when text entry is active.
Chat panel now auto-opens if you type text and press Enter while the panel is closed.
Chat text entry deactivates after entering text.
Chat panel no longer closes if you press Enter on a blank line.
Additional miscellaneous bug fixes.

Items:
Fixed known bugs that caused players to sometimes lose items.
Fixed a bug with the Nanoforge that caused it to inaccurately modify the stats of higher-quality items.
Fixed a bug that sometimes caused Unique items to drop without special properties.

Quests:
Fixed various known issues which prevented players from being able to continue interrupted side-quests.
Quest items should no longer remain in the player inventory after the associated quest has been completed. Players with old quest items (such as Train Parts) associated with quests they’ve already completed or no longer have should find these items removed upon logging in.
Fixed an issue that sometimes prevented players from receiving credit for killing the “5 Lies” in The Hellgate quest. Players should now be able to properly advance in this quest.

Engineers:
Fixed known bugs which prevented Engineer Drones from saving properly.
Fixed a bug which caused Engineers to receive an erroneous “unable to meet requirements” message when entering a new instance with a Drone that has a weapon equipped.

PvP:
Fixed an incorrect modifier causing Special Effect Attack Strengths in PvP situations to be much higher than intended.

World Movement:
Fixed known issues which occasionally prevented characters from being able to load or switch instances.
Fixed several issues with players getting stuck in the world.
Fixed a bug related to St. Paul's Nightmare mode progression.
Portals to party members should now automatically close if the associated party member leaves the game.

World Events:
The Guy Fawkes event has ended. Characters that have completed the NAME Quest that did not receive the Trinket reward should find this item in their inventory.

Ivan Sulic just posted this on Hellgate: London’s official website: Patch 0.5 will be released tomorrow! Along this announcement, Ivan keeps us up-to-date regarding the infamous “invisible party members” bug, which will not be solved until the next patch. Finally, the Guy Fawkes event WILL end tomorrow.

The good news is that we have identified why this is happening and have a couple of solutions for the problem. Патч только что поставили на евро-сервере. Сами сервера уже подняли. Мейнтенс прошел быстро и безболезненно. Все в сумме заняло около часа.

The main cause of this is when players “ladder up” the equipment on their Character or Drone by using items with statistic bonuses. This results in the Character or Drone being able to use a better overall set of gear than they normally could, and thus causes issues if the items are not equipped in a specific order (or used at all). We’re continuing to work on this one, but it is better with this patch.


As always, we’re reading the forums, getting your feedback, and seeing your desires for Hellgate. The biggest issue we’re currently working on is the client-side memory usage issue. This is very complex and involved, and we also know that it’s a major issue for users. We’re pouring all of our energies right now into working on the game, so if you don’t see us reply to your posts it doesn’t mean we aren’t listening. It just means we’re working hard to make Hellgate: London a better and better experience.

    * Fixed a texture memory leak that occurred when inspecting armor items. This will improve long-term memory usage, especially for players that frequently buy, sell, and analyze items.


    * Chat: Increased the number of players in global chat.
    * The chat window no longer overlaps the Crafter merchant UI panel.
    * Fixed a bug that prevented the user from interacting with the chat panel via the mouse when the Buddy List or Guild Panel is open.
    * System messages are now displayed in all chat tabs.
    * The scroll bar on the Guild Panel should now function properly.


    * Items: Items dropped in the world now have slightly lower overall feed requirements.
    * Analyzers now work as expected on stashed items.

* Общее: Пофиксен баг, когда член(ы) группы был(и) невидимы для остальных членов группы.
* Пофиксена утечка памяти текстур, которая происходила при «примерке» частей брони. Т.е. улучшена долговременное использование видеопамяти, особенно для игроков, часто покупающих, продающих и анализирующих вещи.

* Чат: Увеличено число игроков в общем чате.
* Окно чата больше не перекрывает панель торговца-крафтера.
* Пофиксен баг, который не давал игроку взаимодействовать с панелью чата при помощи мыши, когда открыт Список Товарищей или Панель Гильдии.
* Системные сообщения теперь показываются во всех вкладках панели чата.
* Полоса перемотки в Панели Гильдии теперь должна работать корректно.

* Вещи: Выпадаемые в игровом мире вещи теперь имеют немного пониженные общие требования.
* Анализаторы теперь работают должным образом при определении тайных (спрятанных) вещей.

* Инженеры: Пофиксен баг, который приводил к снятию с Инженерного Дрона экипированных вещей при вызове инженером Дрона после получения уровня.

Patch 0.7 Nears

Once in, and the question bot has been unlocked, you can ask a question by typing "/msg DevBot XXX" with XXX being your question. We'll also have another channel set up where you can all just chat amongst yourselves.

Hellgate: London - Стоунхендж

Разработчики из Flagship Studios, как и было обещано, вовсю трудятся над новым контентом для своей Action/RPG Hellgate: London. Пока не очень понятно, каким образом будет добавлена эта локация в существующую систему, но определённое разнообразие в опостылевшие городские пейзажи она несомненно внесёт.

На сайте корейского издателя игры, компании Hanbitsoft, появились и первые изображения новых территорий. Выйти заплатка 1.0 должна ещё до Нового Года.

General
Based on the number and depth of balance changes to skills in this update, certain characters will be provided a “respec token” that allows them to reassign their skill points. This token is automatically placed in the character’s inventory and can be used at any time.

All Evokers and Guardians will receive respec tokens, as will all characters in Subscription Member accounts.

PvP
A Dueling Arena has been built for those who wish to test their mettle against each other. When challenging another character to a duel, the invitation dialogue indicates that the duel will take place in the Arena. When the duel is accepted, both characters are instantly transported there.

When both characters have loaded into the Arena, a countdown begins. During the countdown, characters can move, but they cannot use skills, activate items, cast spells, or attack their opponent. After a duel has been won, the defeated character is reset, as is their opponent and a new countdown clock begins. Players can leave the Dueling Arena by activating their Recall device.

Players can still duel in other areas by joining the same party and activating their /pvp flag as before.

UI

* The Mini Map is now set to the top right of the screen with character state icons appearing below.
* The Chat Window is now scalable. To adjust the size of the chat window, hold down the ALT key. There is a small tab in the upper right hand corner of the chat interface that can be used to resize the window.
* The LFG interface has received new functionality. To activate the LFG Interface, simply press the ‘P’ key.
o The screen has been re-arranged to allow for more information and additional features.
o Party Leaders can advertise existing groups to add new members.
o Individuals can advertise themselves as being available for a group. To instead create an entirely new group, select the CREATE PARTY option. Otherwise, the character is listed as an individual looking for a group to join.
o New search filters have been added to better find the right group dynamic.
o Players can now Invite, Join and Whisper to individuals or groups listed in the LFG interface.

Skills
There are a wide variety of balance tweaks across the Templar and Cabalist factions.

Cabalist:

* Brom’s Curse:
o The rank progression of this spell has been adjusted. Brom’s Curse affects up to 4 targets for duration of 5 seconds at rank 1. The maximum number of targets is increased by 1 per rank of the spell, and the duration of the spell is increased by 1 second per rank.
o This spell may now be cast while moving.
o This spell now heals a fixed amount based on the attacker’s level instead of being based on a percentage of the attacker’s health.

* Afterlife
o The power cost of this spell has been reduced.

* Elemental Drain
o The power cost of this spell has been greatly reduced.
o The casting time has been reduced by 1 second.

* Word of Fear
o The Fear Attack Strength of this spell now properly scales with the caster’s level.

Evoker
Skill Rank bonus descriptions have been updated and normalized to be based on their initial rank 1 effect. For example, Spectral Bolt now displays no Phase Attack Strength bonus at rank 1, but displays a more clear bonus of 25% Phase Attack Strength per additional rank.

* Spectral Curse
o The rank progression of this spell has been adjusted. Spectral Curse now affects up to 4 targets for a duration of 10 seconds at rank 1, increasing its maximum targets by 1 and duration by 2 seconds per rank.
o This spell may now be cast while moving.
o The power cost of has been reduced substantially, and the range has been increased to 15 meters.
o The explosion damage caused by Spectral Curse has been increased.

* Arcane Shield
o The rank progression of this spell has been adjusted, providing slightly less shields at lower ranks.
o Arcane Shield is unaffected by the Evoker’s movement.
o This spell now lasts for 10 seconds with a 40 second recast time.

* Concentrate Damage
o The rank progression of this spell has been adjusted. Concentrate Damage now provides a lower initial damage bonus, but grants a greater bonus per rank. Concentrate Damage surpasses its previous damage bonus at rank 4.

* Summon Ember
o The rank progression of this spell has been adjusted. Additional ranks of this skill now provide 15% more damage instead of 20%, but the base damage of the Ember pet is significantly higher across all ranks.
o The Ember’s Health, Damage, Ignite Attack Strength, Critical Chance, Interrupt Strength, Interrupt Defense, and Armor have been increased.

* Firestorm
o The rank progression of this spell has been re-designed. Additional ranks of Firestorm now provide a 5% increase in damage rather than an increase in Ignite Attack Strength. Firestorm surpasses its previous damage at rank 3.
o The Ignite Attack Strength of this spell has been reduced.

* Flameshards
o The Flameshards spell has been re-worked. The number of shards that this spell fires is now fixed at 7, but multiple shards stack with each other. Individual shard damage has been decreased to take damage stacking into account.
o Increased ranks in Flameshards now increases each shard’s Ignite Attack Strength.
o The spells now has a cool-down time of 2 seconds.
o This spell’s power cost has been decreased.

* Hellfire
o This spell’s casting time and initial power cost have been reduced significantly. Additional ranks now provide a slightly smaller decrease in power cost.
o This spell now has a cool-down time of 2 seconds.
o The damage and Ignite Attack Strength of this spell have been increased substantially.
o The targeting of this spell has been fixed.

* Spectral Bolt
o The rank progression of this spell has been adjusted. Spectral Bolt now provides an additional 25% Phase Attack Strength per rank. The initial Phase Attack Strength of Spectral Bolt has been slightly increased.
o The power cost of this spell has been decreased, and the Phase duration has been increased by 1 second.

* Spectral Lash Mastery
o The damage of the explosion caused by this spell has been doubled.
o The rank bonus of this spell is now applied to the explosion effect properly.

* Lightning Field
o The damage of the Lightning Field has been increased substantially.
o The power cost of this skill has been decreased.
o This spell now has a cool-down time of 2 seconds.
o The rank bonus tooltip now properly displays a 15% instead increase in radius.

* Tempest
o The casting time, power cost, and cool-down of Tempest have been decreased.
o The base damage and strike frequency increase per rank of Tempest have been decreased significantly.
o Each Tempest cloud now lasts for 12 seconds and has a range of 12 meters.
o The rank bonus of this spell now properly increases the frequency of lightning strikes.

* Arc Legion
o The rank progression bonus of this spell has been changed. Additional ranks now increase the Shock Attack Strength of Arc Legion by 25%.
o The range of this spell has been fixed at 12 meters.
o The damage of this spell has been slightly increased.

* Demonspine
o The rank bonus of this spell has been slightly adjusted to a 25% increase in Stun Attack Strength per rank.
o The power cost of this spell has been decreased.

* Boneshards
o The rank bonus of this spell has been slightly adjusted to a 50% increase in Stun Attack Strength per rank.
o The damage of this spell has been increased by 60%.

* Skullsplitter
o The rank progression of this spell has been adjusted. Skullsplitter now begins with 12 fragments and gains 2 additional fragments per rank.
o Skullsplitter now explodes into a significantly more predictable nova pattern.
o The power cost and cool-down of this spell have been slightly decreased.

* Venomous Spirit
o The damage of this spell has been increased and the power cost has been decreased.
o The Fear Attack Strength of this spell now scales properly with the caster’s level. Additional ranks of Venomous Spirit no longer provide an increase in Fear Duration.

* Venom Armor
o Several bugs with which allowed the swarms created by Venom Armor to bypass its intended cool-down time have been fixed.
o The damage of each swarm created by this spell has been increased, and each swarm now lasts for a fixed amount of time on their target
o The initial armor provided by this spell has been decreased, but the bonus to armor per rank remains unchanged.

* Swarm
o The rank progression of this spell has changed. Additional ranks in Swarm now increase the Poison Attack Strength and Poison Duration of Swarm by 20%.
o The cool-down of this spell is now fixed at 10 seconds.
o The power cost of this spell has been decreased significantly.

Templar:
Aura of Power, Aura of Renewal, Aura of Defense, and Aura of Salvation have been rebalanced. Additionally, their skill rank progressions have been normalized to provide a 33% increase in effectiveness per skill level. Blademasters and Guardians will now see more return on investment in these auras.

* Aura of Power
o The amount of power regeneration granted by Aura of Power has been decreased.

Blademaster

* Call of the Chosen
o The Taunt and Fear Attack Strengths of this skill now properly scale with the Blademaster’s level.

Guardian

* Aura of Renewal
o The initial health regeneration granted by Aura of Renewal has been slightly decreased. By rank 10, this aura provides significantly more health regeneration than it did previously.

* Aura of Defense
o The armor bonus granted by Aura of Defense has been decreased.

* Aura of Salvation
o The initial elemental attack defense granted by Aura of Salvation has been slightly decreased. By rank 10, this aura provides significantly more elemental attack defense than it did previously.

* Grand Aura
o This skill now provides an equal percentage increase to the Guardian’s Holy Aura radius at each rank, ending with the same total increase at rank 5 as it did previously.

* Challenge
o The Taunt Attack Strength of this skill now properly scales with the Guardian’s level.

* Denounce
o The Taunt Attack Strength of this skill now properly scales with the Guardian’s level.

Quests

* Certain quests that could not be completed after defeating Sydonai because Emmera was no longer accessible can now be turned in to a new NPC named Sammy.

Items

* Unique items that were found before Patch 0.5 that are missing special attributes may now be rerolled for free. The process is as follows:
o All mods must first be removed using a Delux De-Modificator. This is available once at no cost for qualifying items.
o Once all the mods are removed, insert the item into an Augmetrex 3000. Now click any of the three "Add Property" buttons to reroll the item attributes.
o All item attributes will be rerolled and the item balance will be up-to-date. If the item level was previously upgraded with the Nano Forge, the additional item levels will be added to the newly generated base level after the item reroll. This means that the new item level may not be the same.

* The Stun Defense granted by the Gyro Stabilizer has been increased.

* Health and Power injectors now show up in high level stations.

Crafting

* The limit on number of times an item can be upgraded has been raised to 10.

* Upgrading an item takes 50% less resources.

* A new, rare salvaged material crafting material called Nanoshards are now required to upgrade items.
o Nanoshards can be obtained from any item, but the chance to salvage one is increased when disassembling rarer items.
o The number of Nanoshards required to upgrade an item increases each time the same item is upgraded.

* Moloch’s Lair – Only after collecting the heads from the Caste Caves will heroes be allowed entry into the lair, with a chance to defeat the legendary Moloch, one of hell’s most imposing minions who carries very unique items that can only be obtained by defeating him in combat. And because Moloch’s soul is eternal, this quest and it’s rewards can be a never-ending challenge.


* The Wild – These three mini-raid areas present players with difficult obstacles but also huge rewards with three levels that get increasingly more difficult even with the recommended full party size – you will need a small army to get through these challenges.

Ну пока на Темл Базе нет никаких особенных порталов. Я же, конечно, первым делом сбегал посмотрел. Нет, на обычном МП в данный момент нет ничего похожего.

Патч ставился, это факт. Но 1.0 ли хрен знает. А вот уники стали падать гораздо чаще. Или лаки стал влиять.

The Lowdown On Upcoming Updates

Perhaps the most sought-after information that Hellgaters are most interested in on our forums is insight into the future of Hellgate: London. After a great first day at the Games Developer Conference, we'd like to offer a kingly scoop on this very topic. And so, without further ado, we lift the curtain and reveal our plans for the next three Hellgate: London updates. Note that while the bullets outline the contents of each patch, they are actively being worked on and will have more thorough patch notes upon release.

Patch 1.2

* In-game mail with the ability to attach items.
* Marksman skill adjustments.
* Many bug fixes.


Previously known only for its sweeping changes to the Marksman class, Patch 1.2 will add in-game mail, a hotly desired feature. Additionally, a great many bugs are addressed in this build, many of them reported by the community.

Patch 1.3

* New functional pets.
* Warp to any player in buddy list.
* Emotes.
* Text bubbles over character heads.
* Display party member level and class.
* Inspect other player's equipment.
* Link items into the chat.
* Split stacked items.


This patch will introduce a host of features designed to enhance the Hellgate experience. Not only will you now be able to check out your teammates' armor and weapons, items will be able to be "linked" into the chat window, allowing other players to see their statistics with ease. Emotes will provide new depth to interacting with your fellow Hellgaters as will text bubbles. All in all, Patch 1.3 offers a bevy of new features.

"The Abyss Chronicles" (Patch 2)

* Group PvP, PvP games, and PvP ranking.
* The Abyss "endless" dungeon.
* Big Ben/Parliament Square adventure area.
* Three new base monster types.
* Five new bosses.
* New skills for all classes.
* New high end armor for all factions.
* New weapons for all factions.
* Consignment house.
* Shared stash.
* Instance switching.


Our biggest major content update yet (well, until the next Chronicle). Multiplayer: Patch 1.2

In-Game Mail
Characters can now send and receive mail from any other character, including characters within the same account. Mail consists of text messages, and one item of any size and any amount of Palladium can be attached for delivery. Here are some of the features of the mail system.

* Mail can be read anywhere in the game via the Mail panel. This can be accessed using the Z key or using the Mail icon located underneath the chat panel.
* Items and Palladium can only be attached or removed from mail while the character is in a Station.
* Mail can be sent to any player whose name is known, regardless of whether they are online or not. You can only send mail to one character at a time or to your entire guild.
* Mail is only stored for a certain amount of time. The mail panel shows how long each message has left before it is automatically deleted. Different types of mail (such as those with attachments or unread mail) may stay in your inbox for longer or shorter periods of time.
* While you can send mail to character in a different mode (Hardcore, Elite, and Hardcore Elite) you cannot attach items or Palladium in a cross-mode email. This follows the same rules as trading items.
* You can’t mail quest items or non-tradable items (such as Dye Kits or a Skill Retrainer).


General

* Adjusted difficulty of the Nightmare endgame. Decreased the ramp of the damage penalty that players face against monsters higher than their level.
* Fields from different sources can now stack. Please note that the graphics♦ from new fields still override those of previous fields.
* Players must now wait 5 seconds before they can re-enter a Hellrift.
* Fixed a bug which caused weapons to disappear when swapping weapon sets in the middle of performing certain skills.
* Fixed a bug which caused the /played command to display the incorrect amount of time played.
* If a player dies during (or just before) a cut-scene begins playing or the game begins loading, the re-spawn options menu will come up after the cut-scene or loading screen is completed.
* Vendor inventories in Nightmare difficulty should now be stocked with Nightmare-level items.
* The Shock effect now deals damage immediately when it’s applied.
* Several character and monster animations have been improved.
* Fixed known Blueprint exploits.
* Fixed a bug which sometimes caused files to require unnecessary patching.
* Fixed a bug which caused the mini-game to become stuck if the player zoned to town or quit the game immediately after completing a round of the mini-game.


Stonehenge

Moloch

* The Necro Fall zone has an increased monster spawn density of approximately 25% and the monsters are now 2 levels higher than before.
* Moloch has been further increased in difficulty, as well as being more resistant to Ignite and Ignite Damage. Be sure you’re well prepared before attempting to defeat him in Hardcore Elite Mode!
* Moloch now has a chance to drop the following additional, extra-rare loot for every player who defeats him:
o 1% chance to drop an Attribute Retrainer. This item allows a character to “zero out” all points put into attributes (Accuracy, Strength, Stamina, and Willpower) and freely reassign them. These items are tradable between all players.
o 5% chance to drop one of a new class of dye kits that have intrinsic properties. These properties scale with the level of the item, so one gained from Moloch at level 50 will be better than one gained from Moloch at level 30. These dye kits are tradable between subscribers. In order of least rare to most rare:
+ Earth Core Dye Kit: Health regeneration
+ Dark Vengeance Dye Kit: + to luck
+ Indigo Fire Dye Kit: Electricity “thorns damage” effect
+ Copper Sky Dye Kit: + to all Elemental special effect defense

+ Vanquish Dye Kit: +1 level of Sprint skill (this does not scale)
+ Cold Steel Dye Kit: + to Armor
+ Black Knight Dye Kit: + to all attributes


The Wild

* The Wild zone has a 20% higher monster spawn.
* The Foreboding Wild zone has a 30% higher monster spawn.
* The Deepest Wild zone has a 40% higher monster spawn.
* Even more champion monsters can be found in all the Wild zones
* Champion monsters in all Wild zones have a 1-in-250 chance to drop one of six new, Unique weapons. These weapons scale with the level of the champion dropping the weapon. These weapons are tradable between subscribers.
o Convulsor – a Sniper Rifle
o The Exterminator – a Heavy Rifle
o Novastorm – a Nova Gun
o The Unyielding Moon – a Sword
o Slipnaught – a Focus Item
o Alucard’s Continuum – a Dart Pistol
* A new boss monster, The Desiccator, has a 25% chance of appearing in The Deepest Wild zone. He should be extremely hard to kill, particularly solo or in small parties. As his health constantly regenerates, there is no guarantee a party will ever be able to kill him.
* When defeated, The Desiccator has a 20% chance to drop a “Mysterious Egg.”
* When placed in the Transmogrifying Cube, a Mysterious Egg will hatch into one of three new “pets with abilities”. These new pets and the Mysterious Egg are not tradable. These pets are:
o Nautilus – occasionally heals all friends in range
o Revenant – occasionally fires a spectral missile at enemies
o Heap Raptor – breaks all those pesky crates for you


General Stonehenge Updates

* Essences or Caste General Heads gathered in Normal and Nightmare difficulties may now be used in either difficulty setting.
* Players may no longer exploit the essence pedestals via trading.


Monsters

* Winged Imps now lose their invulnerability earlier.
* Fixed some cases where monsters would get stuck in the ground.
* Wurm no longer spawns maggots when it dies.
* Maggots summoned by Wurm will now automatically die upon Wurm’s death.
* Fixed a bug which allowed the Wurm encounter to be exploited.
* The Lightning now looks like a giant robot as intended.


Quests

* Fixed a bug which sometimes caused collection side-quest counters to count down under certain conditions.
* Players can now drop the train part quest items for the “…All the Live Long Day” quest. Also players may no longer pick up these items if they do not have the quest active or if they already have the item.
* Any leftover blueprint items from the “Threshold” quest will now be removed.
* Players who have more than one of an un-droppable quest items now have the option to destroy all but one of these items.


User Interface / Controls

* Some UI panels have been improved.
* Fixed two bugs which caused the automap fog of war to be reset either when using a PRD or in levels with hellrifts.
* Added class and character level to the party member windows.
* Improved the /whisper and /reply interface.
* Shift-activation should now work for skills granted by items.
* The [Shift], [Ctrl], and [Alt] keys are now re-mappable, and may be set as key-modifiers.
* The [ACCEPT] button on the trade panel now greys out for 3 seconds after the trade terms are changed by either player.
* Fixed a bug which would omit some guild members in the guild member list for very large guilds.


Graphics

* Fixed an issue where backgrounds would flicker or disappear.
Graphics (DX10 Only)
* Various distortion effects have been fixed.
* Fixed a Hellrift portal graphical issue in which the image would slide inappropriately.
* Translucent models now render properly against the background.
* Particles and translucent models are no longer out of focus with the depth-of-field effect.
* Depth-of-field blur amount has been reduced and is now more subtle.
* Fixed a resource/memory leak that showed as either Page File or Commit Size growth.


Skills
PLEASE READ the changes to skills carefully as many have changed. Some skills now have new names to represent their different effects or make more sense within the context of the character class.

Hunter

* Fixed a bug that sometimes caused grenades to not fire properly when the skill is being repeated.


Phase Grenade

* Fixed a bug which caused the Phase Grenade to not receive the proper Attack Rating from the user. This caused the Phase Grenade to do less damage than intended against armored targets (but did not affect damage done to Shields).


Tactical Stance

* Now also gives a base Firing Accuracy bonus of 50.
* Changed the Critical Chance bonus effect (3% at rank 1 and 1% per additional rank) to a damage bonus of 15% at rank 1 and 5% per additional rank.


Escape

* Escape now provides 1 second of invulnerability when it is activated.
* Escape should now prevent enemy players in PVP from seeing the user.
* The cool-down for this skill now starts when the skill is used, not when it is cleared.
* The cool-down for this skill has been increased to 30 seconds.
* The duration for this skill has been decreased from 6 seconds to 3 seconds at rank 1, increasing by 1 second per additional rank.
* The rank cap on this skill has been increased from 5 to 7.
* Escape now clears all other speed boost effects while it is active, including Adrenaline Pills and Sprint. Using any skill or item that boosts speed will clear Escape, including Sprint.


Precision Strikes

* Precision Strikes now have direct synergies with all other Precision Strikes.
* Precision Strikes no longer have skill prerequisites
* Decreased the shared cool-down of all Precision Strikes from 20 seconds to 12 seconds.


Napalm Strike

* Increased base Damage by roughly 300%.
* Ranks in Napalm Strike now increase the Duration of all Precision Strikes by 50%.
* Decreased base radius by 50%.


Smackdown

* Ranks in Smackdown now increase the Elemental Attack Strengths of all Precision Strikes by 25%.
* Increased base damage by roughly 300%.
* Decreased base radius by 50%.


Shock and Awe

* Decreased base Damage by roughly 25%.
* Ranks in Shock and Awe now increase the Radius of all Precision Strikes by 15%.
* Decreased base radius by 75%.


Marksman

Rebounder Rounds (formerly Ricochet)
“The Marksman uses modified ammunition that has a chance to ricochet off enemies and walls.”

* This skill is now an Active skill. You must use this skill in order to gain the effect and functions similarly to how “fire both weapons” works.
* There is no power cost for using this skill.
* This skill has a chance to proc its effect (based on the skill and increasing based on the rank of the skill) for each individual firing of the skill. Since its effect is no longer dependent upon landing a critical hit, the effect of this skills will be seen much more commonly at all skill ranks and character levels.
* This skill has indirect synergies with the other skills in the “Ballistics” line. Each rank in Rebounder Rounds has a chance (albeit smaller) to proc when either Ravager Rounds or Concussion Rounds are used.
o EXAMPLE: The first rank of Rebounder Rounds gives a 10% chance for shots to ricochet while using Rebounder Rounds. Due to skill synergy, Ravager Rounds and Concussion Rounds have a 7% chance for this effect to occur while using either of those skills.


Ravager Rounds (formerly Reflected Shot)
“The Marksman uses modified ammunition that has a chance to blow through and subsequently retarget additional enemies.”

* This skill is now an Active skill. You must use this skill in order to gain the effect and functions similarly to how “fire both weapons” works.
* There is no power cost for using this skill.
* This skill has a chance to proc its effect (based on the skill and increasing based on the rank of the skill) for each individual firing of the skill. Since its effect is no longer dependent upon landing a critical hit, the effect of this skills will be seen much more commonly at all skill ranks and character levels.
* This skill has indirect synergies with the other skills in the “Ballistics” line. Each rank in Ravager Rounds has a chance (albeit smaller) to proc when either Rebounder Rounds or Concussion Rounds are used.

Concussion Rounds (replaces Homing Shot)

* This skill is now an Active skill. You must use this skill in order to gain the effect and functions similarly to how “fire both weapons” works.
* There is no power cost for using this skill.
* This skill increases the Interrupt Strength (indirect chance to proc) of the Marksman’s weapons (based on the skill and increasing based on the rank of the skill) while the skill is used.
* This skill has indirect synergies with the other skills in the “Ballistics” line. Each rank in Concussion Rounds increases Interrupt Strength (albeit by lesser amount) when either Ravager Rounds or Rebounder Rounds are used.
o EXAMPLE: The first rank of Concussion Rounds gives a 12% increased Interrupt Strength for shots fired while using Concussion Rounds. Due to skill synergy, Ravager Rounds and Rebounder Rounds have a 8% increased Interrupt Strength when using either of those skills.


Weapon Master (formerly Hollow Points)

* Increased the Critical Damage bonus of this skill from 20% at rank 1 and 10% per additional rank, to a flat 30% bonus per rank.


Beacon

* Decreased the power cost by 33%.
* Increased the per-rank bonus to 7% from 5%.
* Decreased the base effect to 21% from 45%.
* Duration is now fixed at 6 seconds.
* Beacon may now be used on targets who already have the Beacon effect to refresh the timer.
* The Multi Beacon and Beacon effects no longer stack.


Elemental Beacon

* Now also decreases the target’s Elemental Attack Strengths.
* Gives increasing Elemental Attack and Defense penalties per rank that scales with the character’s level.


Multi Beacon

* Fixed a bug which caused increasing ranks in Multi Beacon to not provide any bonuses.
* Increased the cooldown to 12 seconds from 2 seconds.
* Duration is now fixed at 6 seconds.
* The Multi Beacon and Beacon effects no longer stack.


Sniper

* Is now available at level 5.
* No longer forces the Marksman to crouch and stop moving when used. The character now moves at 50% speed while the skill is active (in addition to the Armor and Weapon Energy Consumption penalties).
* Weapon Accuracy, Range, and Missile Velocity bonuses are now fixed at 60%, 60%, and 25%, respectively.
* Damage bonus has been decreased from 200% to 150%.
* Rank progression now decreases its rate of use and rate of fire penalties by 3% per rank, beginning at a 50% penalty at rank 1 and ending at a 23% penalty at rank 10.


Master Sniper

* Now provides a 1% Critical Chance bonus per rank, in addition to its previous 20% Critical Damage bonus.


Rapid Fire

* Now clears Multishot when used.


Multishot

* This skill has been moved under Weapon Master in the skill tree. It required two points in Weapon Master to unlock, thus requiring fewer total points to unlock than before.


Overshield

* Increased the Shields bonus per additional rank from 33% to 100%.
* Overshield now grants Shields in a fixed ratio: the Marksman's current Shields Percentage will not change when the skill is activated or deactivated.


Escape Artist

* The Movement Speed bonus has been increased to 25% per rank.
* The rank cap on this skill has been increased from 5 to 7.


Grenades

* Grenades now have direct synergies with all other Grenades.
* Increased the damage of all Grenade skills by roughly 70% in addition to individual Grenade skill damage changes.
* Increased the cool-down of all Grenade skills from 5 to 6 seconds.


Explosive Grenade

* Explosive Grenades now explode on impact with monsters (but not objects) and have a 2 second fuse.
* Decreased base Damage by 23%.
* Decreased base Ignite Attack Strength by 33%.
* Ranks in Explosive Grenade now increase the Damage of all grenades by 12%.


Phase Grenade

* Increased base Damage by 6%.
* Ranks in Phase Grenade now increase the Elemental Attack Strengths of all grenades by 30%.


Toxic Grenade

* Toxic Grenades now bounce off of objects (ignoring monsters) before exploding after 1.5 seconds.
* Toxic Grenades now create a field that lasts for 4 seconds, dealing field damage.
* Decreased base Poison Attack Strength by 50%.
* Ranks in Toxic Grenade now increase the splash or field radius of all grenades by 10%.


Flashcrasher Grenade

* Increased base Damage by 12%.
* Decreased base Stun Attack Strength by 50%.
* Ranks in Flashcracker Grenade now grant and increase the Shield Penetration of all grenades by 10%.


Engineer

* Engineer Drones now properly receive Armor bonuses from Armor affixes.
* Fixed bugs that caused Engineer Drones to receive more than twice as much Armor than intended.
* Fixed a bug that prevented the effects of Medpak Retrofit and Shield Generator Retrofit to properly scale up with additional levels.
* Engineers should no longer erroneously receive bonuses from items which grant the Overshield skill.
* Summoned pets should no longer fail to spawn when summoned.


Beacon

* Decreased the base effect to 15% from 25%.


Templar

Guardian

Aura of Thorns

* Aura of Thorns should now properly increase Thorns damage from items.
* Aura of Thorns has been rebalanced to fit the standard Aura progression model.


Blademaster

Crosscutter

* Crosscutter now requires a target in order to use the skill.


Whirlwind

* Fixed a bug which caused Whirlwind to immediately cancel itself.


Cabalist

Brom’s Curse

* Fixed description for Brom’s Curse to match the actual health gained.


Summoner

Hand of Nostrum

* Hand of Nostrum should now properly increase the number of healing beams used by the Witch Doctor.


Evoker

Hellfire

* Hellfire can now be aimed as long as the skill trigger is held down, and fires once the trigger is released.


Lightning Field

* The skill description has been corrected to match the actual increase in radius per rank.


Items

* New Mutentacles have been improved, with higher base Damage and Elemental Attack Strengths bonus.
* Id Pulsar weapons should now ignore friendly targets.

Патч для сингла!

Когда уже никто не ждал, разработчики анонсировали патч 1.1b для сингла. Он будет включать в себя все багфиксы до версии игры 1.1, о дополнительном контенте не упоминается.

После закрытия студии Flagship Studios интеллектуальная собственность Hellgate: London была выкуплены южнокорейским разработчиком HanbitSoft, который официально сообщил о разработке нового контента для этого мультиплеерной экшен/RPG.

А я тут снова достал из ящика эту игру. Надоел Сакред. Devil May Cry 4 прошёл одним дыханием на первых двух уровнях сложности (геймпад пришлось купить), но дальше стиль оттачивать надоело. И теперь снова демонов в метро режу. Всёже игра знатная. Жаль что такая у неё судьба.

Кто какими классами прошёл НМ в сингле ? Я саммонером прошёл, теперь думаю кем ещё. Хочу гварда, но уже не с пистолетами (иначе похоже на саммонера будет), а чисто мили. Есть желание использовать наконец биту из первого квеста и отфигачить ею Сидоная на НМ smile.gif Может кто ещё помнит, что эффективнее, таунтом боссов типа Бедлама тянуть в мили, или качать атаку в воздухе (эх если бы гвард мог как Неро из ДМЦ4 в воздухе финты мечём крутить).

2puzo: Спасиб. Да с ДМЦ4 не особо сложно, можно сразу включить автокомбы, пистолет и акселератор будет автоматом заряжаться. А потом возможно появится желание самому провеести пару эффектных связок. Захватывающая зараза smile.gif Имхо, проще с геймпада. Если интересно, заведи тему, я в меру своего понимания постараюсь объяснить.

PS. ДМЦ по сути приставочная игра, поначалу непривычно, нужно просто пару деньков освоиться. Но кррасота, мне очень понравилось, именно оригинальностью на РС, в ряду приставочных игр может и ничего выдающегося. я даже, денёк работу сачканул smile.gif

А мне надоел Сакред, достал из ящика коробку с HGL, все патчи лежат, качать не нужно, и снова увлёкся. Всё-таки концептуальная игра.

Правда на 20 левеле я скис играть за гварда со щитом и мечём и снова пошёл по избитому пути, сразу стрелком и инженером. Ну не вижу чем кроме скорострельных пушек сокеченных на шрапнель/новы на NM можно приемлемо быстро выносить мобов.

Мне казалось я постил про свой прогресс на NM. Вот ещё нашёл скриншот ПП. С парой подобных прошёл гвардом половину NM. Но потом бросил, тк по сути он мало чем отличался от саммонера. Вортексов и Голиафов на NM при стрельбе в упор шрапнель разрывает почти мгновенно smile.gif Можно качать только защитные навыки и якорь.

PS. Может подвигну кого попробовать ещё разок.

PPS Ну и WP качать, чтобы набить 14 слотов путными энчантами biggrin.gif
